I advertised for the blood drive weeks in advance to give enough time to recruit donors. Posters were placed around SUU campus, emails were sent out advertising the blood drive, and a sign up table was set up on SUU campus several times.
The day before the blood drive I called and texted the donors who had signed up to remind them of their appointments. The day of I helped the Red Cross set everything up and I was there to help people get check in during the entire event. I set up signs around campus to guide people to the correct location and to invite walk-in donors.
